To Whom It May Concern,
Gwydir Shire Council has recently purchased a new truck mounted Jetmaster Bitumen Patching Unit, with a six (6) cubic meter capacity aggregate hopper and a 1950 litre capacity emulsion tank.  This unit was purchased to replace another manufacturers patching unit and Council has found the Jetmaster to be far superior in its capabilities over the previous unit.  The Jetmaster has less wearing parts, particularly in delivering the aggregate from the hopper, and thereby  having less down time for repairs and replacement of work parts.  The sealing and edge repair capabilities of the unit are first class and the unit has a high output capability, which is essential in our large shire area.

Council uses the Jetmaster to carry out two (2) coat emulsion seals on our heavy patching and shoulder repair/widening programme.  The savings in time and money are excellent as we are able to seal patch as soon as it is ready instead of having to get a lot of patches ready to make it viable to get a sealing contractor in.

The assistance and service Council has received from Jetpatcher Roadtech has been excellent and this is vitally important in these days of increasing costs and value for dollar is required.

I have no hesitation in giving Councils and the unit operators seal of approval for the Jetmaster “out front” system and would unhesitatingly recommend the unit to any prospective purchaser.

Yours faithfully

To Whom it May Concern,

My association with Jetpatcher Roadtech Pty Ltd began in 1992 when Council purchased a trailer mounted Jetpatcher bitumen patching unit. That unit capably served Council's needs for the ensuing 10 years.

During that time Jetpatcher Roadtech provided a very good parts and service backup which kept machine down time to a minimum. The company was always willing to share with us any machine upgrades developed through design changes or consumer demands. The management and staff at Jetpatcher have always been approachable and helpful in our dealings with them and this commitment continues to the present. The stability of the company and its high regard of customers has been evident all times.

Council has recently purchased a new Jetmaster truck mounted bitumen patching unit with 6 cubic metre aggregate hopper, 1400 litre emulsion tank and front mounted, remote controlled delivery system. This new unit has already proven its high output capability and its outstanding acceptance by our operators. The remote controlled operation has revolutionised our bitumen patching work whilst providing a safer, cleaner, more comfortable operator environment.

I have no hesitation in recommending Jetpatcher Roadtech Pty Ltd and their Jetmaster patching units to prospective users.

Yours faithfully,

To Whom It May Concern,

During August – September 1999, Cairns City Council dry hired a 4m3 capacity Jetpatcher Road Maintenance Unit. This initial hire was very successful in particular with relationship to productivity, permanence of repairs and operator acceptance.

Council hired it for a second time from March 2000 to January 2001. During this period it became obvious to our maintenance staff that a Jetpatcher Unit was going to be essential for Council to maintain its road network to an acceptable standard in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

As a result, Council went to Tender for a Blower Type Road Maintenance Unit. Three Tenders were received and fully evaluated by Council staff. A unit with a full width aggregate spreader and spray bar was purchased from Jetpatcher Australia Pty Ltd. Council took delivery of the unit in December 2000.

We have been more than satisfied with the unit supplied and the technical back up service provided by Jetpatcher staff. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss any aspects regarding this equipment and technology.

Yours sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern,

Jetpatcher Road Maintenance Unit Front Mounted Remote Control.

The Tweed Shire Council in December 2000 purchased a Jetpatcher Road Maintenance Unit with a front mounted boom, remotely controlled by the truck driver.

Council had, on several previous occasions dry hired conventional Jetpatcher Units, which proved to us that this method of road maintenance was reliable, cost effective and suitable for Councils road network.

Our tender documents for this equipment asked for the alternative configuration of rear unit operation or the front mounted remote control unit. After evaluation and due consideration of the tenders offered, Council ordered the remote controlled unit from Jetpatcher Australia Pty Ltd, delivery was December, 2000.

This unit has now been in operation for six months maintaining our roads. Our operators, plant maintenance crew and engineering staff, have all expressed satisfaction with this unit.

The Jetpatcher Unit is providing us with effective repairs and is consistently laying over 8m3 of material per day.

We have no hesitation in recommending to prospective purchasers this equipment and the technical back up service provided by Jetpatcher Australia Pty Ltd.

I am most willing to discuss any aspect regarding these road maintenance units.

Yours faithfully,

Re: Jetpatcher Unit

The Gannawarra Shire Council purchased a Jetpatcher Unit in May, 1996. We worked closely with Wayne and Jim as the truck we had decided to use under the Unit required the chassis to be lengthened. This work was all required to be completed by the end of the 1995-1996 financial year.

Approximately 3.53 per day of pothole patching and edging was all that was possible using the old traditional method, with the Jetpatcher, output has now increased to between 8m3 and 12m3 per day.

The staff at Jetpatcher Australia are more than helpful with back-up service and are always willing to help if we have any queries.

To Whom It May Concern,

BITUMEN PATCHING MACHINES

Council hired a Jetpatcher unit to assist with a road maintenance programme and to assess this type of equipment.

As a result of this, it was decided during 1995 to call tenders for a blower type of Road Repairing Machine to be mounted on a single rear axle cab/chassis.

An assessment was made of all machines offered including the different configurations and technology used, productivity, noise levels, ongoing machine maintenance, ease of operation, acceptability to our operational staff and overall value for money. This assessment involved considerable time and effort and included discussions with other plant operators and on site inspection of equipment.

Council consequently resolved to purchase a 4m3 truck mounted Jetpatcher unit.

Since delivery and commissioning of the Jetpatcher in January 1996, we have been extremely pleased with the Jetpatcher’s performance and the willingness of Jetpatcher Australia Pty. Ltd to advise and assist when required. Their support service has met our expectations.

The improvement in our road maintenance is beyond the expectation of our staff.

Council is very satisfied with its decision to purchase a Jetpatcher and I am most willing to discuss further any aspects regarding this equipment

To Whom It May Concern,

The Shire of Flinders purchased a Truck Mounted Jetpatcher unit with a 6m3 hopper capacity and a single 1000 litre emulsion tank to fit right hand side of the hopper on the 16 January 1996.

The machine is operating above Council expectations. The two operators are more than happy with the vehicle and its performance.

The Flinders Shire Council had the unit assembled at its depot and the training and backup service has been excellent with the manufacturing team only too happy to help in any way they can.

We have no hesitation in recommending this Company to anyone concerning the purchase of a Jetpatcher.

To Whom It May Concern,

BITUMEN PATCHING MACHINE

During 1988 Council commenced investigations into methods of improving the efficiency of its bitumen patching activities. Various types of machinery and procedures were investigated and following considerable research and discussions with Roads & Taffic Authority of New South Wales and owners of various patching machines, Council hired two types of patching machines on a trial appraisal basis.

Following these appraisals Council resolved to call public tenders for the supply of a bitumen patching machine for mounting onto an existing 12 tonne prime mover. A thorough assessment of all machines offered was made and Council resolved to order a 5.5 cubic metre truck mounted unit from Jetpatcher Australia. Councils assessment of the various tenders included matters such as the material delivery systems, likely wear rates on various parts, and experience from other users together with the overall price.

Since placing of the order Council has been most satisfied with the willingness of Jetpatcher Australia and its staff to advise and assist when required. The backup of advice and part service has always been sufficient and prompt.

On delivery and commissioning of the unit, the staff of Jetpatcher Australia provided adequate training for Councils Employees. This has resulted in ready operator acceptance of the unit and the productivity expected by Council has been met.

The improvement in road maintenance techniques within the Council area is beyond the expectations of both Council staff and the public. Councils productivity for the same number of staff has increased by more than 100%.

Council is totally satisfied with its decision to purchase a Jetpatcher unit and on behalf of Council I am prepared to discuss any further aspects regarding this unit.

Dear Tony,

South Gippsland Shire Council would like to express our appreciation for the excellent service and support provided by Jetpatcher Roadtech.

South Gippsland Shire Council has over 700 kilometres of sealed pavements to maintain. This is taken care of by our Jetpatcher unit. During the long period leading up to our resealing program, the workload increases significantly as we prepare pavements for reseal. Over the past two years we have hired a Jetmaster Road Maintenance Unit for two months prior to reseals. This has been so successful that we have decided to purchase a Jetmaster Unit. The Jetedger feature of our soon to be delivered machine, will allow us to address a backlog of edge break repairs that have been left unattended due to a lack of resources.

We look forward to continued close association in the future.

Yours faithfully,

NOEL THORNBY
Operations Co-Ordinator

To Whom It May Concern,

RE: JETPATCHER AUSTRALIA PTY LTD

It is almost 4 years since my company purchased its first truck mounted Jetpatcher Road Repairing Unit and we have just purchased our second Jetpatcher.

During this time we have been very impressed with Jetpatcher Australia Pty Ltd in their professional approach to pre delivery and after sales service.

At the time of purchasing our original unit we looked at all of the alternative makes of road repairing machines that were available. We considered then, that both machine and the “back up” service offered by Jetpatcher, to be quite superior to that of their competitors. The Jet distributor was also a very important factor in the purchase of the unit as opposed to the conventional rotary distributor used by the other manufacturers.

Before purchasing our second unit we again looked at the alternative machines available and the differences to us were even greater. The Jetpatcher Unit is clearly in front in all aspects compared with the other manufactured units. The many new operator friendly innovations, the increased productivity and ease of operation are all critical to our “bottom line”. Jetpatcher have provided the machine and service to give us this.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this company and its products to any council or Contractor. I would be happy to discuss any further queries and can be contacted at the above address.

Yours faithfully,
